Five-Star Shipping

There is nothing more infuriating than paying good money for something (CARDS!!!), only to have it show up damaged because of poor packaging practices. It’s happened to me quite a bit the past few months- two of which resulted in full refunds and me being stuck with two incomplete sets. That’s why when leaving feedback on eBay, I’ve decided to give praise to those who take the time to do it right.

One seller who did it right used a unique box to ship my cards in and there was no way these babies were going to get damaged in transit.

Unfortunately, there was no Griffey Jr. Tribute autograph redemption card inside!

The cards I had won were in an auction for a lot of The Greats from 2013 Topps baseball. If you’ve seen the cards, you know they look more like something from a premium product rather than from the flagship product. And so it was quite fitting that they would be shipped inside a Topps Five Star box (which, btw, was inside of an actual shipping box).

I normally don’t really care for high-end products but the looks of these inserts really caught my eye when first released. Would I have thought so highly of them had they came out of a $25 pack? No- but for something coming out of flagship, they’re pretty dang nice.

With this purchase, I’m now only 13 cards from completing the set.
