About

My interest in baseball cards started at the age of seven while on a grocery shopping trip with my mother. The year was 1976 and we were in the Buttrey Food and Drugs store at our local mall. I wouldn’t get many packs that year, but the ones I did get set my collecting interests through the roof. And it’s an interest I’ve had for the better part of the last forty years.

The focus of my collection has changed over the years- from player collector to Rookie Card collector, set collector to team set collector. I’ve recently scaled back to one primary player collection (Dale Murphy) and a run of Topps’ flagship baseball sets dating back to…you guessed it- 1976. I’m also working on a Topps team set collection of the Seattle Seahawks.
